Hospital lawsuit for missed cancer

Georgia hospitals are legally required to provide a safe patient environment, competent doctors, and reasonable medical support services for their patients. If a hospital-employed doctor commits malpractice, both the doctor and the hospital are liable.

Phillips Law recently resolved a lawsuit for a client whose cancer was missed by a hospital radiologist. This allowed the cancer to grow unchecked, and significantly diminished her chance for a cure. Fortunately, we were able to obtain a substantial recovery, including for her potential future wrongful death claim.

Phillips Law has won medical malpractice lawsuits against multiple hospitals in Georgia including:

Lawsuits against Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA

Lawsuits against Colquitt County Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, GA

Lawsuits against South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA

Lawsuits against Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, GA

Lawsuits against Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, GA
