Charles E. Peeler joins Judicial Nominating Commission

Albany, Ga. – Charles E. Peeler of Flynn & Phillips was recently appointed by Governor Deal to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the State of Georgia. The Commission is responsible for receiving applications and interviewing candidates for judicial vacancies across the State. The Commission makes recommendations to the Governor for appointments to these judicial vacancies.

Charlie also served on the Judicial Nominating Commission under Governor Perdue. He actively serves on other councils and committees such as the University of Georgia Law School Alumni Council, the Client Security Trust Fund of the State Bar of Georgia, and the local rules advisory committee of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
